Scientific American, a New York-based magazine, publishes an article by Christophe André, a French psychiatrist, on January 15, 2019, and tweeted about it on January 27th with the text: “Cardiac coherence breathing exercises can stabilize the heartbeat and have a powerful ability to dampen anxiety.”

On the morning of 15 August 2018, three resident sadhus at the centuries-old Shiva temple were found in a pool of blood, their hands and legs tied to their cots and multiple stab wounds on their necks and other body parts. Ramsharan (56) hailed from Bibipur village in Bidhuna, while the other two - Lajja Ram (65) and Halke Ram (53) - were residents of nearby towns namely Airwa Katra and and Bakewar.

A 16-year-old girl Arushi was gang-raped and later murdered by Izrael, Dilshad & Zulfikar. They abducted her in the car on NH 91 and raped her in a moving car and when they thought they will be caught red-handed then they decided to kill her and throw away her.

The article claims that under the ruling government, local and traditional fabrics have been revived to further the "Indianization" of fashion, but on the other hand, instances of poor weavers still suffering amidst this revivalism are cited to imply that nothing is being done to eliminate the poverty in India. The efforts to establish national pride in the saree are labelled as part of a "political program" on the behalf of Hindu nationalists looking to fully convert India back to its Hindu roots.

On September 25, 2017, miscreants smashed the second-floor windows of the Wilton Hindu Temple in Wilton, Connecticut. The incident resulted in a damage of $1,500. According to Swami Balagopal, the spiritual leader at the temple, this was the third incident in the past six months with the previous two ones not reported to the police. In previous incidents, the temple’s garage was tampered with and a door was stolen off the premises.

On September 18th, 2017, Rajesh and Vidhya Patnaik, two small business owners in Indianapolis, Indiana, arrived at their sign-printing shop “Signs by Tomorrow” to see it covered in graffiti. The walls, windows and the doors of the business were covered with anti-Hindu phrases like “Traitors” and “Satanists”. A fire was set outside the building but it burned itself out without causing any damage. Rajesh Patnaik told WTHR/13: “First I saw the front, and then I decided to go look at the back. On the backside there was much more and it hit me like nothing before. It is shocking, it hurts. I’ve never seen anything like this before and I’ve lived in the U.S. for a little over nine years…The person probably knows something, maybe something superficially, about Hinduism and they probably don’t like the fact that I am practicing Hinduism.”

Mohammed Dar, a Pakistani immigrant and a Dairy Queen owner in Kemeh, Texas, since September 2017, regularly put-up anti-Hindu signs in and around the restaurant. Some of the messages, displayed on tall panels, mention Hinduism specifically and accuse it of being based on racism. Dar taped more messages near the register, on the drive-through window and placed a large sign outside of the restaurant, in the parking lot. One sign read ‘Obey preserve implement Constitution of the USA NOT monkey ism (sic) of Dark Ages.’ He has also said about Hindus that ‘They may look like humans, but they act like monkeys.’ The signs inside the shop also display several emblems such as a Confederate flag, a Star of David and a Christian cross. They picture several world leaders, including Kim Jong-Un, the Dalai Lama, the Pope and Queen Elizabeth II. Dar said further ‘Racism is the foundation of Hinduism. That is the fact. Anybody has a problem, I challenge them to prove me wrong.’ ‘This is not offensive. It’s educational,’ he added.

Leader of the third largest political party, New Democratic Party, in Canada, Jagmeet Singh, in response to Lilly Singh's, a Canadian comedian, event "Lilly Singh says it's time to fix sexist traditions", tweeted: "Growing up my mother taught us that Raksha Bandhan contradicted the Sikh belief in the full equality of all genders. So I've never tied Rakhi in my life. But I feel there's something very powerful in changing a tradition to make it more just. Raksha Bandan has always bothered me because of the very overt sexist message it sends to women: they are powerless & need protection. Big up @IISuperwomanII for challenging this sexist belief."

On March 19th, 2016 weekend, a cow’s severed head was dumped at the Lakshmi Cow Sanctuary in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The severed head was left where Sankar Sastri, who runs the sanctuary, could find it. None of the 20 cows at the sanctuary were hurt.

On November 26th, 2015, an arsonist torched 40 religious Hindu flags in the courtyard of a Queens home on Thanksgiving Day. The arsonist was caught on surveillance footage that was released by cops lighting the flags in front of the home at 89th Avenue and 80th Street in Woodhaven around 1:15 AM.

On July 4th, 2015, a signboard for a planned Hindu temple in Clemmons, North Carolina was fired at leaving over 60 holes in the sign. The Om Hindu Organization of North Carolina was planning to build a 3,600-square-foot temple in Clemmons and had bought 7.6 acres at the site. The incident happened sometime between noon and 1 PM on July 4th, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said in a report. A deputy found empty shell casings near the sign that were consistent with birdshot being fired two to three times from a shotgun, Winston-Salem Journal quoted Chief Deputy Brad Stanley of the Sheriff's Office as saying. The sign suffered damage of USD 200.

On 13th April 2015, the North Texas Hindu Mandir in Lake Highlands suburb of Dallas, Texas was vandalized with offensive spray images. The number ‘666’ and an upside-down cross was spray-painted on the door of the temple. In Christian lore, 666 is considered the number of the Devil. The attackers left behind on a shed at the temple the mark of Mara Salvatrucha, an international gang originating among immigrants from the predominantly Catholic nation of El Salvador and active in the US.

On February 26, 2015, vandals used bricks to break several windows and then painted the word “fear” on the wall of the Kent Hindu Temple in Kent, Washington state.
