In his first tweet (deleted later on) on Aug 19, 2020, Mohammed Yousuf Pasha, shares a photo of a baby shower ceremony, suggesting it to be a marriage ceremony, to say that "And this is what you were taught in Ashrams. First make her pregnant and then marry her. I PITY YOU" While he deleted the first tweet, in another tweet, the next day, he tweeted: "Where did I lie? I’m on my words. To the response, I said you were taught in ashrams. First to make her pregnant & then marry her because one of my Hindu friend did the same."

Maha Hasan Alshawi, a student at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, accused Professor Prasad Jayanti (faculty in Computer Science) of religious discrimination when Professor Jayanti, supervising Alshawi, suggested her to take another credit course to prepare her for the credit course she wanted to take at first place. She also filed complaint against two other Computer Science faculties, Professors Amit Chakrabarti and Deeparnab Chakrabarty, alleging that they were helping Professor Jayanti in abusing her as Muslim. She said she believed that Hindus like seeing Muslims being tortured but there were no specifics. It was just her belief. She further alleged that she was abused and harassed because she was Muslim and he was Hindu, but she didn’t provide specifics.

A devotee and temple activist Dr Latha Prasanna, the land of the Thiripuraanthakaeshwarar Temple has been taken on lease by a hotel owner Mohammed Ansari in a benami’s name.

In an article about Holi, published on March 1st, 2020, Weave Family writes: “Some parts of Holi are really fun. However, behind the joy and fun is something sad and broken. People celebrate the hope of good triumphing over evil and yet, not one Hindu god among the millions they worship has any power to overcome evil. This empty hope continues year after year. The people have not heard about God’s Son, Jesus, who brings victory over all evil and sin.” In the “Activities” section, the authors further mention: “Often, Indian families do not know the reasons behind their rituals or have a relationship with any of the gods they worship. While you are having fun, ask them honoring questions about where good and evil come from, what gives them hope in their lives, and how evil is defeated in the future. Listen carefully to their responses. When you return home, discuss the festival as a family. What parts of Holi celebrations are good, true, and beautiful? What parts are twisted, false, and broken?” In the following point, it further mentions: “Discuss beliefs behind the holiday that are false. Pray that Hindu families would come to know Jesus, the only one who can remove sin from our hearts and triumph over all evil.” The authors, Alicia Hofer and her husband, Titus, have three children, one of them adopted from India. Weave Family, based in Arkansas (most likely Fayetteville, where the area code of their contact number belongs and the location of its parent organization, Center for Mission Mobilization, is), is a ministry of Center for Mission Mobilization. According to their website, “Weave exists to align the hearts of families with God’s global purposes by equipping them to define, embrace, and live out their unique role in advancing the Kingdom, growing to their fullest potential in Christ.”

On January 16, 2020, Mehak Kumari went missing from her house in Jacobabad, in Pakistan’s Sindh province. Her family says one Ali Raza Solangi kidnapped and converted her to Islam at the Dargah Amroot Sharif in Shikarpur and then married her. Mehak, also known as Nanki Kumari, is 15. Ali Raza, 28, they allege. “My daughter Mahek Kumari is a minor – we have all the documents to prove her age. Ali Raza, who abducted her, is already married with four children. He is a daily wage earner. Tell me, why would my daughter be inspired to marry him?” asks Vijay Kumar. On January 21, 2020 Mehak was presented at a session court in Jacobabad. By then, said her family, she had already been converted. The court sent her to a shelter house and asked the Larkana Medical Board to submit a report on her age by February 2.

According to the reports, two Hindus—Babita Meghawar and her relative Dongar Meghawar—were found hanging from the ceiling in a room of a police officer ASI Gul Mohammad Sand in Mithi, Tharparker, Sindh. Pakistani activist and lawyer Rahat Austin has reported that Babita was the sister-in-law of Dongar Meghawar and they both were tortured before being murdered. The death of the two Hindus came on the heels of an Associated Press report which said that more than 1,000 girls, a majority of them Hindus, are abducted, raped and converted to Islam every year in Pakistan. The report suggests that as many as 1000 Christian, Sikh and Hindu women between 12 and 25 years are abducted, raped, married, and forced to convert to Islam. Due to limited financial means of the families of such victims, many cases go unreported

Sharing a New York Times article titled, "India Steps Toward Making Naturalization Harder for Muslims", Priyamvada Gopal, an Indian-born academic, writer, and Professor of Postcolonial Studies in the Faculty of English at the University of Cambridge, with 76K followers on Twitter, tweeted: "Really am at the point where I would like to invite Western countries to block naturalization for Hindus. Snatch their precious little H-1Bs. Sickos."

Huma Dar, on October 30th, 2019, 3-5 PM, gave a talk about "Brahminical Oppression of Kashmir" at UC San Diego. In the abstract, a lecturer at UC Berkeley wrote: "In this talk, I will argue that the Indian Occupation of Kashmir is critically inflected by Brahminism: the "casteist" oppression of Kashmiris inscribed in law, our dehumanization being de jure. Simultaneously, the Brahminical oppression of Dalit Bahujans, Adivasis and Pasmanda Muslims is inflected by coloniality: remembered and reinforced through the uncritical celebrations of "Aryan" conquests over the indigenous peoples of South Asia, our dehumanization being de facto. Liberation of Kashmiris and for those oppressed by caste not only need not be turned against each other, but are inextricably intertwined." Huma Dar is a daughter of a Pakistani Army officer. Her sister, Aliya Farouk Khan's father-in-law, Mian Mohammad Yousuf Khan was also in Pakistani Army. Dar is also a Khalistani sympathizer and participated in 2017 Sikh Rally held in San Francisco.

On July 18th, 2019, a Hindu priest Swami Ji Harish Chander Puri, serving at the Shiv Shakti Peeth Temple in Glen Oaks, Queens, was assaulted during his morning walk. While wearing the full religious garb, as he walked near the temple, a man he had never seen before, a 52-year-old Sergio Gouveia, a Caucasian male, approached him saying he didn’t want him in the neighbourhood. Early reports described said Gouveia had shouted, 'This is my neighbourhood'. Then Gouveia beat him with an umbrella and punched him, cutting his nose, head, chest, arms and legs. The gashes were so severe, he had to be hospitalized, according to police and a criminal complaint.

While the incident reported is unfortunate, a blanket statement is made to absolve the Christians spreading their faith in India by portraying them as having to struggle against the "fiercely anti-Christian" Hindus. A quote is also made about Hindu nationalities always using violence to exterminate all the other religions from the country.

Audrey Truschke, an Associate Professor of South Asian History at Rutgers University Newark, says: “A number of Hindus committed terrorist acts against the British in the late colonial period. See Durba Ghosh's 2017 book, titled Gentlemanly Terrorists: Political Violence and the Colonial State in India 1919-1947.”

The Swaminarayan Temple, located on Louisville’s Bardstown Road, was vandalized with window breakage and sexist, xenophobic and hateful messages on the temple walls. The incident is believed to have occurred between January 27th and 29th, 2019. The vandals broke in and spray-painted "repugnant messages of hate" in the temple. In an upstairs room, profane messages were spray-painted on the walls along with several black crosses. Phrases including "Jesus is all-mighty", "Jesus is Lord" and "God" were also sprayed in black paint on the walls. The eyes of a religious figure were spray-painted, with black paint dripping down the face. Near an entrance to the temple, a window had been broken, a picture was partially sprayed with black paint and "Jesus is the Only God" and a black cross was sprayed next to a staircase. A knife was also left on a chair in the temple, according to Louisville Metro Police Chief Steve Conrad. But most concerning is a profane message directed at those who worship at the temple. Spray-paint on a bulletin board labels them as "foreign b*****s."
